Innovative Solutions to Open Government Partnership ver.2.0

7With the success of the two earlier Innovative Solutions to Open Government Partnership fora in November to December 2014, The Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) conducted another run of ISOGP, offering more solutions to the LGUs. This forum was conducted in partnership with Microsoft Philippines and in support of the national government, other private sectors and CSOs - Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy National University of Singapore (LKYSPP NUS), PLDT, Galing Pook Foundation, Open Data Philippines, Ayala Foundation, Access Health International-Philippines, Civika Foundation, 162 to 52 Coalition for Health, Department of Budget and Management and Department of Science and Technology- Information Communication Technology.

The forum was called “Innovative Solutions on Open Government Partnerships ver. 2.0”, held on February 27, 2015. With the experience of establishing a coalition of government agencies, private sector and CSOs, ULAP also launched the “Innovative Technologies Coalition for OGP in Local Governments” during the forum in order to unite the efforts of the partners in helping the LGUs for a more transparent, accountable, effective and efficient local governance. A total of 150 participants and partners were in attendance (Please see Annex A), 86 of which are from the local government units of Regions III, IV-A, IV-B, V and NCR. Participants are local chief executives (LCEs) and/or their representatives with their Administrators, Planning Officers, ICT/MIS Officers and other local government non-elective officials.
